NoDa - North Davidson Arts District

RESOURCES

This former mill neighborhood, known as The North Davidson Arts District, is affectionately called NoDa, where you can find eclectic galleries, eateries and performance halls, sits off of North Davidson, hence the name.  One of the best known places to visit is Amelie’s French Bakery, famous for their salted caramel brownies and specialty sweets and refreshing drinks.  NoDa, is booming with various breweries sure to quench any thirsty palate.

NoDa, neighborhoods are made up of condos and townhomes, even some that were converted from existing mills.  Great interest has restored some of the older bungalow style homes and low cost housing has made this a great place to call home and meet new friends.  Some hot spots are casual dining at Cabo Fish Taco, or Boudreaux's Louisiana Kitchen, the gallery crawl and concerts at The Evening Muse and The Chop Shop.  Seventy years ago, The Neighborhood Theatre was a place to enjoy a good movies, but today it is an intimate venue to appreciate local and national musical acts.
